New Hampshire

New Hampshire was founded in 1638 by John Wheelwright. It was a royal province, so that means that it was a monarchy. Became a colony because the settlers wanted a fishing colony and nothing else, and so they founded New Hampshire. Protestant was their main religion that they practiced, (as many colonies did) and two important people who lived in this colony were John Mason and John Wentworth. They did many handicrafts in this colony such as textiles, spinning, knitting, and weaving. In addition, they built houses. It is mostly a forest area, and New Hampshire has the shortest coastline of any coastal state of the United States.  It also has mountains and has 7 rivers. If you wanted to become a Lumberjack as a your main career, then this woodsy colony is for you. Since it had a lot of rivers, New Hampshire was an ideal place to create the fishing colony that people wanted. The government was run by the king so there wasn't a conflict on who held the power. The geography of the land was excellent for fishing because although it had the shortest coastline New Hampshire had a lot of rivers. People who were going to settle in this colony had to be tolerant to the Protestant religion if you weren't already Protestant.
